Static learning tools have the advantages of being both consistent in content and contained in scope. However, web 2.0 applications (eg blogs, wikis, and multimedia) can allow content developers to compliment static tools by placing them in a dynamic framework allowing learners to go deeper through extension pathways. Francis Kneebone will discuss how web 2.0 applications can be used to add extensions and currency to static learning tools.

E-learning Gas Skills for a Green and Sustainable Future is using technology to address the shortage of qualified gas fitters in Queensland by making it quicker and easier to become qualified.
